Pizza for Everyone

I just got off my shift as a no deposit car insurance salesman at Jack’s Insurance and Wigs. I like my job pretty well. I get to help people with their no deposit car insurance needs as well as help them look their best with one of our “Syntho-Hair” toupees. I love when I can protect my clients from devastating car accidents and help them look ten years younger on the same visit.

As I entered the pizza parlor, I realized I had forgotten my wallet at work. I had no money on me and I was about to starve to death. If I don’t eat something every two hours, I get grumpy – and gassy. I had to think fast and come up with a way to get some pizza in my stomach before I stunk up the place. I took a seat at an empty table and when the waitress arrived, I told her that I wanted to order a large pizza for each table of patrons in the restaurant. She asked me what I wanted for my table and I said I would order later, but I would like a glass of water.

When the pizzas started arriving from the kitchen, I watched as my waitress delivered one to each table. When she was done, she came and asked if I wanted to order yet. I told her no. When she left, I walked to a table and asked if they were enjoying their pizza. They said they did and thanked me profusely. I told them that no thanks were necessary and then I asked if I could try a slice. Of course they were more than willing to share and I ate two slices while standing beside their table. I went to the remaining tables and did the same thing. There were ten tables and I had 2 slices at each.I went back to my table and had a drink of water and watched everyone as they enjoyed their pizzas. I was a good no deposit car insurance salesman, but I could never make people as happy as the pizza did. In fact, I don’t think Bart Bardot, the worlds greatest no deposit car insurance salesman could compete with a large pepperoni pizza.

The waitress appeared again, this time with a stack of bills for the pizzas I had sent to the tables. I told her that I changed my mind and wouldn’t be ordering anything. She said she didn’t care if I ordered anything, but she wanted to be paid for all the pizzas I ordered for the others. I explained that I didn’t order a pizza for my table and the bills should be handed out to the tables that she delivered them to. Her face turned red and she ran off.

I left the pizza place and headed to “Pie Palace” for dessert.
